About Us
Digital Mortar is a cutting-edge location analytics system delivering customer insights to some of the worlds most sophisticated retailers. We are seeking a developer with the conviction to play a critical role in both building and architecting a next-generation product. The position is based out of our San Rafael, CA HQ.

As a Digital Mortar Solution Developer You Will:
- Be responsible for improving, maintaining, and scaling the DM1 SaaS platform.
- Write crisp, efficient code to intelligently consume a variety of complex datasets.
- Implement new end-to-end user-facing features.
- Create internal tools to quickly solve data-driven problems.
- Collaborate closely with our team and impact the product roadmap.

Essential Skills
- Extensive experience in one or more object-oriented languages.
- First-hand experience in constructing software systems from scratch.
- Technical leadership and taking ownership in product features and designs.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong desire to perform and grow as an engineer.
- Fearless learner and quick-study when it comes to picking up new technical abilities.
- An inordinate passion for technology.

Desired Skills
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience in C#.
- Exposure to at least one web framework such as .NET Core or Flask.
- Exposure to at least one JS framework such as Angular or React
- Experience building UIs that scale.
- Knowledge of Linux system administration.
- Experience working with SQL databases and other data stores.
- Responsive UI/UX development.
- Strong shell and Python scripting skills.
- Comfortable working on advanced analytics on large data sets.

- Full-stack development experience, including backend API design or SDK application integration.

- Custom tracking and vision application development with an automated camera data feed.
- Experience with a major cloud provider, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience deploying IoT edge devices
