The Role

North South 804 Apps, LLC. (NS804) is the brainchild that was conceived after working with developers and becoming frustrated at the lack of communication and ability to bring our visions to fruition. Founded in 2012, NS804 was established to fill a niche in the software development industry.

Our customers receive custom built, cost effective and collaborative solutions. These solutions are delivered on time and within original budgets. In fact, we have never exceeded a budget and 85% of the time we finish under budget. This has contributed to our 25% annual growth and has provided us the opportunities to become an award-winning company.

Our mission is to develop the best possible apps for our clients – by sharing knowledge, listening to their needs, and giving support wherever and whenever possible. We pride ourselves on our expertly-honed development skill set and our commitment to not only produce high-quality apps, but to partner with our clients, acting as their tech-liaison to help develop and grow their app with our proven user acquisition and retention strategies.

We have an open position for a Business Development Representative. We prefer this candidate to have some level of preexisting relationships or connections within the software development world. This position has the potential to expand into a leadership role. The main focus of this role is outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification.

As our Business Development Representative, you will:

  • Work as part of a small team to develop and create relationships with potential corporate and start-up clients looking to build mobile, web, other proprietary software applications
  • Be responsible for finding new potential clients and cultivating a current client base already established outside of or within NS804 that results in direct sales
  • Work hand-in-hand with executives to develop a healthy recurring sales pipeline
  • Prospect through cold calls, business development, and email outreach campaigns with potential clients and intermediaries
  • Build or cultivate intermediary networks in the custom software development world
  • Create targeted sales campaigns directed at potential clients within various industries
  • Collaborate with various team members and leadership to onboard new clients
  • Actively network with potential clients and intermediaries
  • Work with potential clients/stakeholders/decision-makers to ensure customer success
  • Document our internal processes and best practices to keep the NS804 Sales Team running like a well-oiled machine!

Requirements:

  • Self-driven with a proven success record of penetrating new markets and closing new business
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication, and time management skills
  • Comfortable building out new processes and working in an environment that is not micromanaged or controlled
  • Experience leading business development & sales efforts for communications services/products
  • Experience with technical sales is a plus
  • Specific knowledge of frontend development, backend development, AWS and DevOps, mobile and web applications, and agile development methodology is ideal
  • Open to expansion of role and transitioning into a leadership position

  • Technically savvy with business suite applications
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
