The Role

Be Known is seeking a Digital Media Buyer to create, manage, and scale our clients’ advertising campaigns across the major digital advertising platforms (Facebook, Google, etc.)

The Digital Media Buyer will work directly with the Coordinator(s) and the core Management Team to perform advertising services that create results.
Compensation for this role will be paid a base rate PLUS the option of performance bonuses and the best part...we'll pay for any training or courses you desire to take.

Job Introduction:

The Digital Media Buyer will play a major part in the strategy, development & management of clients’ paid digital media advertising campaigns across Facebook, Youtube, Google ad networks, along with any other platforms deemed necessary for continuous growth.

You will create and analyze all campaigns to ensure we are as efficient as possible with our advertising while providing a consistent & scalable ROI to meet KPI’s. You will also work closely with the Management Team, Copywriters, and Web Designers to ensure they are as accurate as possible when building new Ads and Marketing Funnels, based on what the numbers from campaigns tell you.

You will be responsible for having a keen understanding of ad copywriting, audience segmentation, interest-based targeting, customer journey & cohort tracking, and be well versed in driving customer acquisition through a balanced multi-channel approach. You’ll be very organized and rely heavily on your project management and communication skills with the Team.

Major Goal For This Role:

Strategize, create, manage and successfully scale advertising campaigns on the major digital advertising platforms. All done with a focus towards revenue growth of clients’ business(es) by understanding goals, ROI/ROAS, marketing objectives, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

This will be divided between two areas of focus.

Ad Campaign Strategy & Reporting:

  • Work with the Coordinator and/or Management Team to analyze new client business/sales funnel ecosystems for best potential Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
  • Create ongoing media request lists of ad videos/pictures/media needed from the client for campaigns.
  • Compile a weekly report on ad campaign performance, what’s working well, what needs to be improved, etc. leveraging analytics & customer journey tracking for specifics.
  • Create 30, 90, and 180 day plans for campaign creation & improvements.
  • Research markets to understand who and how we market to those people.
  • Monitor emerging trends in social media, paid advertising and adjust accordingly.
  • Stay up to date on scaling strategies (i.e. Auto Rules, Surfing Method, etc.).
  • Recommending future tests and improvements for client retention.
  • Help develop internal team processes for account management and reporting.

Ad Campaign Execution:

  • Setup client accounts and settings inside of Facebook Business Managers. Sometimes working directly with the Client to gain access.
  • Create all necessary custom conversions & audiences for the Client account.
  • Organize and send over all necessary analytics & Pixel tracking, etc. to the Web Developer.
  • Work with the Team to quickly plan & write direct-response ad copy and implement with respect to the corresponding marketing channel.
  • Setup Budgets Determined By Client Ad Spend "Stop-Loss".
  • Create and optimize ad campaigns on social channels [Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Google, etc.] to meet or exceed KPI’s with consistent results across all tested Markets.
  • Manage, on a day-to-day basis, multiple client accounts and campaigns. This will include using reporting, analysis, optimization, and understanding the campaigns inside and out.
  • Scale the ad spend based on performance for the best Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
  • Gather data on consumer, competitor, audiences, and market conditions.
  • Continuously plan/test/launch [copy/bids/targets/placements, etc.] to maximize efficiency, split tests, and growth.
  • Troubleshoot campaign performance, tracking, or account settings.

Basics of What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ Years of Digital Marketing Experience.
  • 1+ years of successful Facebook Advertising experience (Blueprint certified is a huge plus).
  • 1+ Year of Google or Youtube Advertising Experience.
  • Experience handling client ad spend budgets of $100 to $2,500+ per day.
  • In-depth experience with Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads Dashboard.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, remotely.
  • Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and ongoing work items; while effectively managing priorities.
  • Innovative thinker and collaborative team player.

How To Set Yourself Apart:

  • Previous experience managing ad accounts at a marketing agency.
  • Excellent native-English copywriting skills.
  • Experience using customer journey tracking platforms (AnyTrack, Hyros, etc.)
  • Experience performing advanced analytics on digital data sources (e.g. UTM tracking, digital analytics data, digital advertising data, audience data, social data, search data, etc.)
  • Ability to tweak marketing strategies based on findings.
  • Solid understanding of online sales funnels and how the processes of turning a “browser into a buyer” works.
  • Desire to maintain expert-level knowledge and skill sets with online marketing trends using courses, Facebook groups, YouTube videos, etc. (Side Note: we can provide you with any course you’d like to go through.)
  • Solid understanding of how online advertising channels work together to create a cohesive, personalized marketing campaign for the customer, not just knowledge of one channel.
  • Strong ability to manage several client relationships in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong network or relationships within online advertising or technology groups.

Reports to: Account Coordinator and/or Management Team

Time Commitment: Part Time around 20 hrs. per week (with ability to move into Full Time)
