The Role

Company Introduction
Precify (www.precify.in ) is an Agri-Technology organization which help farmers in better farm level decision making. We do this by sharing insights and advisory about their field using Dynamic Farm-Level data about micro-climate, soil and plant parameters. The data is collected using On-Field installation of IOT Systems and further analysis of data using forecasting models and Decision Support Systems.
Precify was started by IIM Ahmedabad Alumni with extensive experience with respect to developing and scaling up products and services for farmers both in India and Internationally. The founders come with diverse background in agribusiness, technology, and software development.

Responsibilities

Responsible for sale of on farm instrumentation for environmental sensing and related services.
Would initiate sales promotion activities in the area to develop, implement and monitor sales and marketing strategies to achieve sales targets.
Carry out farm extension to showcase the working and benefits and Impart training to farmers on the use of the product and its associated mobile application.
Responsible for the installation of instrumentation and troubleshooting on field. Resolve farmers issues in consultation with technical and agronomy team distributors.
Responsible for keeping accurate logs of daily communications, sales reports and contracts.
Collect orders and payments on time.
Delivery of high-quality customer service to existing and potential customers.
Relays feedback on gaps / issues in the product / price offering, service offering, market trends and challenges on the ground.
Mapping of Competitive activity in the area.
Responsible for area sales, planning and execution of Demand Creation activities and campaigns.

Skills & Competencies

Must have at least 2 yrs. of experience of selling of Agri-inputs to the farming community.
Bachelors degree in agriculture or engineering or equivalent.
Post graduate degree in management would be highly preferred.
Basic knowledge of computer handling and MS Office.
Communication skills to address individual farmers and large community gathering in local language (Marathi/Hindi/English).
Should be open for extensively travelling.
Should have strong Negotiation & Influencing Skills Excellent Relationship building skills

Job Types: Full-time, Commission

Salary: 200,000.00 - 300,000.00 per year
