THE OPPORTUNITY
Your role is to lead our marketing efforts and community building. You will work closely with our cofounders to develop the strategic plan and execution of our content marketing, audience building, and community engagement. A qualified candidate is a creative thinker and able to learn and act quickly. You have skills in problem solving, juggling multiple things at once, and managing deadlines. Your primary objective is to build audience lists and engage our communities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Marketing and Branding activities:
• Lead our audience growth and development using both digital and in-person strategies.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and investor outreach.
• Lead strategic marketing plan and implementation for community management.
• Oversee digital advertising campaigns across multiple social platforms.
• Engage audiences through social platforms, email campaigns, podcasts, influencer outreach, press releases, and any other form of digital marketing.
• Monitor industry trends and incorporate into our marketing messaging.
• Oversee projects from pre-planning to completion across areas including content creation, web dev, brand marketing, audience building, design.

Your must-haves:
• 2-3 years of experience in content marketing, branding, social engagement, or related marketing areas
• Be a jack of all trades that feeds off the startup environment.
• Love for storytelling. Know how to tell a story that connects to target audiences.
• Ability to seek information, ask questions, find answers, and test assumptions.
• Possess fundamental computer skills and data analysis.
• Understand how to build audiences, grow engagement, and test traction channels.

• Have passion and hustle to reach goals and overcome challenges.
• Be solution oriented with a “don’t give up” mentality.
• Fit the startup culture and “can-do” attitude.

Preferred but not required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Willing to live or commute to Carlsbad, CA.
• 1-2 years of experience in e-commerce, golf, or sporting goods industries.
• A passion for golf and understands golf culture.
