Product Owner (m/f/d)

Your mission:

You own the short-term product development: From prioritization, over ideation, prototyping, testing to shipping and iterating - you are deeply involved along the process. Plus you also have stakes in mid to long-term strategy development together with our leadership team.

Your responsibilities

• You will make sure the squad is performing: By optimizing, challenging, and supporting development processes. By making sure that tech and product teams are fully integrated, supporting, supporting the mission, and contributing to our users' happiness and business.
• You will make sure our product is constantly improving for users: By advocating for the customers’ needs in front of the development team. Improving qualitative and quantitative measurements of customer satisfaction.
• You will be responsible for hitting the cycle key results: by managing the Backlog efficiently and turning the product vision into an actionable backlog.
• You will represent the product team: by making sure all the stakeholders feel informed and listened to (cross-team alignment)
• You will define the strategic product opportunities: by conducting ongoing user research, mapping out product opportunities, defining relevant KPIs and experiments, and deciding on in collaboration with the product and leadership teams
• You will make sure product best practices are established: By dedicating time to understand our users, to the discovery phase of initiatives, and concentrating on outcomes and not on output.

Role-specific requirements

• 2-3 years relevant experience in building technical and especially user-facing products at scale (ideally Web + App)
• Ability to effectively gather and prioritize user requirements from different sources and work with various business stakeholders
• Previous experience in working together with a cross-functional scrum team of engineers
• Prior knowledge of data analytics and engineering practices and structures to deliver quality digital solutions
• You are a skilled communicator: you can distill complex ideas to make them universally understandable, have attention to detail and be willing to explain to others
• You are familiar with methodologies and tools such as OKR, Jira, Miro, Notion, Slack
• Experience with Figma skills for scribbles/prototypes and user research experience are big pluses
• Fluent in German and English
• Based or willing to move to Berlin
