Head of Startup Incubator Program (MIT Innovation Labs)

Join the first On-Demand Venture Capital in Cambridge, and be part of next generation VC, "i.e., Sequoia + Goldman Sachs + Alibaba combined". Located at MIT Research Park and reporting directly to the MP; you will be responsible for formulating and leading our portfolio strategy and execution. Success in this position will be measured by the creation of long-term shareholder value through our execution roadmap.

The primary objectives include:
• Grow our Startup Labs Program with local universities students and alumni’s groups “MIT, Harvard, Boston University” and own one or more of the five verticals (Enterprise, Consumer, Health and BioTech, Energy and AgroTech, and Hardware, Mobility and SpaceTech).
• Develop strategic alliance and IP GTM with Startup Portfolio and Top local Universities
• Nurture deep relationship with top Innovation Centers and top Tech service partners.
• Initiate and execute NPI (New Product Introduction) among our Corporate clients, portfolio startups, IP partners and scale from POC (Proof of concept) using our Global Tech Labs to commercial stage
• Ready to hit the ground running to deliver world-class services and results to our notable client roster (some are affiliate with top brands, including Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Google, Tesla, Apple, Uber, Airbus, BMW, Walmart, Amazon, etc).

Experience, skills, and knowledge required

• An outstanding performer with years of experience in Software Development, R&D or product development at startup and top tier tech firms, consulting firm, or top accelerators / incubators.
• Demonstrated experience leading the development and successful launch of product or services using the latest emerging tech (Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Commuting, Blockchain, New Material, Genomics, etc) that align with corporate clients focus.
• The ideal candidate will have managed transactions that range in size and complexity with multi-million budget; proven ability to drive from start to finish (or know when to walk away from a deal)
• Expert level knowledge of product development, GTM and SOW / RFP / PMO
• Highly motivated entrepreneur with strong ability to think strategically and direct others in solving complex business problems under pressure, where you become a trusted advisor
• Excellent communication skills, including strong writing and the ability to create top-notch presentations and materials that provide business insight that is relevant and digestible to executive decision makers
• Proven ability to lead, recruit, retain and mentor high performing teams
• Aggressive yet regarded as ethical and fair in the industry. Confident but not arrogant
• MS, MBA, PhD, or MD from top local universities is preferred "MIT, Harvard, Boston University", along large local network
• Startup and Corporate exposure are a must across the emerging tech space and stages.
• You will be working remotely and onsite from MIT Research Park in Cambridge upon customer request. Local Graduate with local tech network is a plus.
