Role: Sales Intern

Work Location: Massachusetts, Utah, Illinois, remote(will be considered)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a committed, goal-oriented sales intern to join our wonderful sales team in the US. The sales intern will be assigned tasks by the manager, which may include conducting market research, identifying potential opportunities, managing outreach campaigns, generating sales leads, making cold calls, participating in meetings, and assisting the Sales teams wherever needed. The intern should be able to take instruction, but also work unsupervised when required. To be successful as a sales intern, you should be willing to spot opportunities and do a thorough analysis of potential leads. Outstanding sales interns are problem solvers who know the value of building lasting, professional relationships with clients.

Responsibilities and Duties include:

  • Research and generate lists of potential B2B institutional leads
  • Provide input on customer briefs, presentations, and sales collaterals
  • Help develop customer relationships and retain existing accounts
  • Assist in evaluating new sponsorship and sales opportunities
  • Learn and apply sales techniques from seniors
  • Maintain sales records in the CRM
  • Collaborate with the Google Cloud Higher Education team on behalf of the company

Requirement:

  • Degree in marketing, business or similar may be required.
  • Strong self-motivation is a must.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Ability to cope with rejection.
  • Ability to remain calm in fast-paced environments.
  • Superb interpersonal skills.
  • A professional appearance.
