Heat Watch is looking for an Account Executive, who is highly motivated, results-oriented, and focused on business growth opportunities.
As an AE at Heat Watch, you will be supported by an experienced Sales Development team in a fast paced environment. You will have the ability to manage your own time and pipeline, set priorities and meet monthly goals. Your main objective will be to help develop and close new business across your region.
Heat Watch (www.heatwatch.com) is a fast-paced, customer-focused New York City / Boston based energy tech startup that controls and runs the heating systems in nearly 2,000 + buildings throughout the Northeast. Heat Watch’s unique hardware and software service significantly reduces energy usage, substantially lowering costs and carbon output. As of today Heat Watch’s technology takes the equivalent of 15,000 cars worth of carbon emissions off the road each year.
Responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will be to establish a new market in your region by strategically nurture and build relationships with clients. Heat Watch has a 99% retention rate so the relationships that start with the sales process are relationships that last. Your perspectives, ideas, and skills will help shape the future of Heat Watch’s sales strategies as we grow into new markets across the country.
Other Responsibilities:
-Qualifying, building, and managing an accurate sales funnel
-Delivering qualified prospects, booking meetings, and executing pitches with decision makers
-Conducting contract negotiations and professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty
-Build brand recognition with the possibility of growing the team in the area to meet demand
-Exceeding a quarterly and annual sales quota
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
4-6 years as an AE or similar sales role
Real estate , mechanical sales or building management experience strongly encouraged
Mechanical Engineering or experience pitching technical sales strongly encouraged
Experience handling and owning deals
Excellent interpersonal skills
Superb communication/presentation skills
Technically savvy and specifically skilled in CRM
Interest in making an environmental impact through carbon emissions reduction
