About The Role
The role of the Sales Representative is to drive revenue by acquiring new clients. You will introduce, educate, and engage potential top agents and teams with our Rainmaker Platform. The Sales Team is required to cold call, handle inbound inquiries, and ultimately acquire new clients and partnerships. The role requires a strong mindset, high-level work ethic, and the mentality or a closer.
• Primary responsibility is driving top-line revenue through acquiring new clients.
• Prospect for new accounts through cold calling in assigned sales territories (100+ dials/day).
• Handle inquiries from potential prospects with top-level professionalism and skill.
• Ability to build a valid business reason to obtain the cold call.
• Meet and exceed assigned sales quota.
• Execute a consultative sales process designed to acquire our future, top clients.
• Be an expert in all Communities.ca products and services.
• Become an authority in the competitive landscape of real estate marketing.
• Become a guide in the local real estate landscape as it pertains to top real estate professionals, teams, brokers, and brokerage houses.
• Grow revenue base from scratch, by identifying and closing new business from cold calling.
• Provide exemplary customer service to agents.
• Ability to navigate multiple browsers and programs including product demos, sales dashboards, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Who You Are
• A consistent track record of success in a sales role
• 2 years of inside sales/telesales preferred
• Proven track record selling high dollar marketing and advertising services over the phone
• Experience in a short sell cycle is highly preferred – an ability to two-call close
• Ability to demo and present products through virtual meeting platforms (Zoom and Google Hangouts).
• Ability to resolve tech issues in an office/non-office environment by leveraging all support teams
• Ability to learn quickly in a hands-on, virtual environment
• Possess a high energy, strong desire to achieve top results with a charismatic, positive “can-do” attitude via the phone and in person
• Online advertising sales background and CRM experience is a plus
• Ability to prioritize and utilize time management
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• College Degree is preferred
*This is a “Hybrid” role, meaning there will be times where you’re asked to come into the office but the majority of your work can/will be completed from your home office.
