The Role

We are Matador.ai, a SAAS company in the automotive industry. Our common goal at Matador.ai is to revolutionize omnichannel retail by harnessing the power of artificial intelligence.

Our vision is to bridge the gaps between the multiple channels and touchpoints created from complex buying journeys. Our founders are experienced veterans in the world of business and have demonstrated a history of owning and operating successful companies.

We are looking for a driven and instinctual Sales Manager to develop and lead our market expansion efforts. Our goal is to increase market penetration dramatically in the next few years across the retail automotive vertical. We already some presence in Florida, Texas and California and have identified priority markets to expand on in the United States.

Main responsibilities:

• Developing, implementing, and evaluating the sales and business developement strategies for a specific market.
• The monitoring of Matador’s International business plans.
• To develop new business networks.
• Overseeing your market sales pipeline.
• Facilitating all sales activities (prospection, qualification, follow ups & closing).
• Develop and implement a sales work plan and schedule to ensure attainment of all required sales activities; sales calls, presentations, and any other sales activities defined by management.
• Grow sales for all key accounts and market segments by executing a sales strategy that supports the organization's goals.
• Understanding our client's business, including their organization, budgeting process, and purchasing potential.
• Developing a 6 to 12 months strategic growth plan identifying all key export market opportunities
• Working with potential virtual trade shows, until traditional in-person show are available.

Requirements:

• Experience in the automotive industry, retail or vendor side.
• Advanced B2B sales experience with demonstrated sales success.
• Ability to organize and prioritize large amounts of information with good attention to detail.
• An excellent presenter with above average communication skills, great negotiator, and excellent ‘closing’ skills.
• Time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.
• Must have a positive attitude, and the willingness to learn.
• Strong business acumen.
• Self-starter/strategic thinker
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in English is a must. Spanish is an asset.

Compensation

• Base salary: 60,000$
• OTE Year 1: 100,000$ - 120,000$
