Radical Inc/Operations Courier & Partnership Coordinator (Part Time)

Radical Inc. is a new organization built with the mission to offer radically transparent, local and nutritious food products to young consumers looking for convenience. Our mission is to close the gap between small local producers and tech-savvy consumers, making both selling and buying effortless. Radical’s initial focus is honey.

Honey is the 3rd most adulterated food in the world. 75% of the honey on the US market is imported, and around 70% of the honey available in supermarkets is fake.

We think this is the ultimate example of our food system's challenges. That's why we're starting from honey to build more transparent, connected and local food supply chains.

Radical Honey is building networks of urban beekeepers and food makers all over the US, bringing small batches of honey produced within 100 miles to the consumers’ doorstep.

Our mission is to increase the (real) honey consumption in the US, while raising awareness on local food makers and their role in our society.

Our very first right hand to coordinate relationships with beekeepers and other food producers as well as track inventory and ensure products are packed and delivered to the end customer. We are looking for someone who has high attention to detail, values efficiency and enjoys vendor and customer relations as well as logistics.

You will be working closely with the Operations Strategist to ensure that the products arrive on time and are re-ordered when needed (on our end). You will also keep a systematic inventory, package the products into our branded delivery box, print labels, and deliver within the San Francisco vicinity. Since we're trying out different ways to deliver the products and achieve our goals, flexibility and a positive attitude is very important!

Required:

• Motorized vehicle
• Valid driver's license
• U.S. Citizen or permit to work in the country

• A dedicated clean area where you can store and box the products

Time: Estimate 5 hours a week in February, expected to increase in the months of March & April.

Compensation: $16.07 USD & Government Mileage Rate $0.56 p/mile
