Operations and Customer Service Specialist with passion for bikes

Responsibilities

You will be the final responsible person for ensuring our mission is fulfilled through excellent customer service and employee satisfaction. Namely, you will:

• Ensure customer satisfaction through and through: responding to questions, answering calls, resolving disputes.
• Set up strategy for customer satisfaction improvement: design and execute customer research, building knowledge base.
• Curate bicycle offering across the platform,
• Potentially motivate sellers to provide more information for their ads.
• Together with our marketers and developers analyze customer behavior,
• Organizing team building activities,
• Keeping the office running and in a fun-to-be-in shape.

About you

As per your character:

• You are caring and empathetic and enjoy talking to people,
• You enjoy variety in your work, but don’t shy away even from excelling in seemingly repetitive tasks.
• You are self-driven and able to prioritize – you don’t often require to be told what to do, yet are able to deliver and ask for advice or help if needed,
• You are flexible – we do not count hours worked and don’t necessarily distinguish a Tuesday from a Sunday (and neither do our customers), as long as you own your responsibilities.
• You thrive in dynamic environment or even in uncertainty.

Regarding your skills and experience, you:

• Are fluent in both Dutch and English with excellent written form,
• You are passionate about bikes and know your way around them - the deeper the knowledge the better!
• Have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent,
• Ideally have some experience in customer support and/or operations (proactive fast-learning personality can compensate for that, though).
