Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Operations Manager will go above and beyond to optimize operations within a fast pace facility. He will inspire his team by his leadership to enable them to reach new levels.

More specifically you will:

  • Determine and manage Key Performance Indicators; Health & Safety, Efficiency, On Time Delivery, Inventory Accuracy, Quality & Training;
  • Manage day-to-day operations; reception, putaway, picking, assembly, packing and shipping activities;
  • Coach and structure development plan for the staff;
  • Plan proactively staffing needs and lead the fulfillment team’s recruitment process;
  • Participate in the improvement of all activities to reach performance targets;
  • Plan and direct operational efficiency best practices to reach budget;
  • Perform continuous improvement activities;
  • Ensure Inventory accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (mechanical, industrial engineering or business or supply chain management preferred)
  • At least 2-4 years experience in leading teams of workers in a high-velocity environments;
  • Experience within a warehouse or a lean manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Continuous improvement knowledge
  • Bilingual
