How you will contribute
As VP of Sales at Brokermint, you will leverage your broad knowledge of the B2B landscape and sales expertise to provide leadership to Sales Development Reps and Account Executives. Through your persistence, determination, and creativity, you will help Brokermint develop and maintain a sustainable product sales pipeline to meet forecasted revenue targets.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing and growing successful B2B services in a fast-paced startup environment. VPof Sales reports directly to the CEO and is an important member of the Brokermint Strategic Team.
Primary responsibilities:
- Define sales goals with the leadership team and implement processes, infrastructure, and hiring to execute against goals and quotas
- Hire, lead and mentor a team of Sales Development Reps and Account Executives
- Motivate Individuals and team to exceed objectives through coaching and mentorship
- Develop SDRs and AEs for career growth within the Brokermint Sales organization
- Weekly 1:1 and coaching with team members to strategize and accurately forecast to upper management
- Collaborate with our Product, Customer Care, and Marketing teams to optimize sales and customer satisfaction
- Create strategies and develop materials necessary to accelerate customer acquisition
- Cultivate lasting business relationships with customers through consultative sales tactics and effective account management practices
- Understand and internalize the Brokermint mission and vision and translate them into a Sales strategy
- Participate in regular leadership meetings to share progress, identify blockers and drive resolution
- Help to solidify the competitive posture of Brokermint
- Actively participate in customer onsites, calls, and any other assistance your team needs in getting deals closed
- Report on sales metrics and forecast to senior sales management
- Use CRM system to maintain excellent records and report on activity and KPI’s
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years closing experience in a B2B technical sale
- 5 years experience managing, hiring, and training Account Executives
- Excellent communication, business acumen organizational and time management skills
- Robust pipeline analysis and reporting and forecasting skillset
- Experience with building, managing, and guiding Sales teams towards set goals
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute both short-term and long-term sales plans
- Strong planning, writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Growth mindset with the ability to learn, adapt and improve constantly
- Strong new customer focus
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to excel in a team-oriented atmosphere
- Ability to provide and receive feedback professionally
