The Role

Our client provides the Next Generation Security and Information Event Management (SIEM) solution. As a recognized leader in the SIEM industry, they help some of largest organizations globally to detect sophisticated cyberattacks and rapidly respond to these attacks within minutes. With the their platform, organizations can collect billions of events each day and analyze them in near real time to detect advanced persistent threats (APTs), insider threats, privilege account misuses and online fraud. Securonix pioneered the User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) market and holds patents in the use of behavioral algorithms to detect malicious activities. The platform is built on big data Hadoop technologies and is infinitely scalable. Our platform is used by some of the largest organizations in the financial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and federal sectors.

Summary

Our client is seeking a seasoned individual with a minimum of 10 years prior experience in delivering advanced security analytics solutions, with a background in SIEM technologies, data protection, network security, security operations or similar technical fields.
The candidate must have spent much of their career in technology sales or professional services and personally influenced the sale and delivery of complex, large-scale business-driven technology solutions to senior client executives.

Responsibilities

Familiarity with security operations, network monitoring, threat analysis and investigation response solutions
Ability to demonstrate products and services to customers on site, remotely via webinar sessions, and at field events such as conferences and trade shows.
Experience responding to technical and functional questions in RFIs/RFPs
Ability to eliminate sales obstacles using creative and adaptive approaches
Ability to understand business problems and a passion for applying technology solutions, and leveraging technology trends, to deliver results.
Strong customer interaction, written & verbal communication, and troubleshooting skills.
Proven project leadership skills in complex analytics projects.
Experience working in a start-up environment.
Proven ability to work closely with direct sales organizations.
Advanced degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, statistics, physics or other technical fields.

The position is remote for now but would require travel to Manhattan and New Jersey when restrictions open up.
