Technical Lead / Architect

The Tech Lead / Architect will be responsible for the architecture, design and execution of roadmap of the Halo Health clinical trials platform. Work closely with pharma / biotech to help in creating more efficient clinical trials and speeding up commercialization of new therapies.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
• Architect cloud-based digital platform for clinical trials.
• Lead Agile development process including development & deployment activities working with developers, QA and dev ops.
• Collaborate with product owner, design UI/UX to gather required inputs for development planning and delivery.
• Responsible for technical requirements, architecture diagrams, and test strategies of the platform
• Work closely with customers’ technical team on platform adoption, implementation, and monitoring
• Ensure attention to safety, reliability, privacy and security.

Here is some of what you’ll need:
• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience (Java, Javascript, Node.js, Python, etc)
• 3+ years of experience architecting microservices based applications across AWS ecosystem.
• 2+ years of similar work experience in the digital health or healthcare industry
• Experience providing technical leadership and being a mentor to junior team members.
• Experience building cloud-based platforms with high throughput and large amount of data processing and storage
• Experience with relational and non-relational database (Amazon RDS, DynamoDB etc.)
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools and process (Jenkins etc.)
• Experience with container technologies (Dockers, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket etc.)
• Experience building large-scale systems with availability and performance SLAs
• Experience with translating user and product requirements to technical requirements

Nice to Have
• Experience supporting integration with healthcare software products including EMR.
• Understanding of HIPAA and GDPR regulations
