We’re based in a brand new, fully refurbished office space in Surry Hills, only a 5-minute walk away from Central station and all of the varied food and drink that Surry Hill has to offer.

Your new role:

Are you looking to work for an early stage company where you will have a direct impact on the success of the business on a daily basis?

We are looking for an exceptional Channel Partner Sales Lead to build and implement the sales strategy for our Accountant and Bookkeeper partner channel. You and your team will primarily be selling to, and educating, Accountants and Bookkeepers on how DiviPay can streamline both their own and client’s businesses.

As the Accountant and Bookkeeper channel sales lead you will be responsible for:

• Defining the value proposition that will allow accountants and bookkeepers to become active channel partners
• Building and implementing the sales strategy for the Accountant and Bookkeeper partner channel
• Hiring and training an outbound focused team of SDRs and Account Executives
• Working with Founders and other Sales Leads to set revenue and activity goals for the partner channel sales team
• Working closely with partners to ensure deep adoption of DiviPay within an accounting practice
• Educating partners on all partner resources available
• Ensuring monthly and quarterly revenue goals are hit
• Building and executing on tactical plans to increase partner sales revenues
• Assessing sales pipeline, activity & forecasts to determine sales progress & areas for refinement/improvement
• Managing key accounts and partner relationships
• Deeply understanding and empathizing with customer’s pain points and educating them on how DiviPay can fundamentally solve their own and their client’s challenges
• Collecting feedback directly from partners and working with the engineering team to continuously improve the product

Important skills and experience:

• A background as an accountant or previous experience selling software tools to accountants and bookkeepers
• A track record of hiring and coaching a successful, high activity sales team
• A proven track record of achieving KPIs in a sales role
• A proven ability to create your own pipeline of leads
• Strong consultative skills with a high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to communicate effectively with highly professional and analytical senior stakeholders
• An innate ability to work autonomously to foster, qualify and convert sales prospects and prioritize daily workload
• Strong CRM and data/reporting management skills
• Genuine resilience and comfort with change. As we grow, new challenges appear which require creativity, boldness and a willingness to take on responsibilities
