Senior/Lead Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities

• As a full stack engineer, you will design, develop and monitor our mission critical web applications. Working with other engineers, you will address complex problems using the latest technologies to build scalable solutions.

On any given day your work may involve:

• Developing and deploying a microservice (preferably using Serverless framework and AWS Lambda),
• Implementing new screens using React.JS and backend services using NodeJS or Flask
• Addressing latency issues and fine tuning implementation
• Tweaking our user permissions models to accommodate a new business use case
• Developing a new visualization using latest JS library and sharing with your fellow engineers

All of the above, accomplished using:

• Applying programming best practices and standards and producing production-grade code
• Testable, maintainable, and extensible code
• Advanced language utilities and libraries and implementing via robust patterns.

*Required Skills *

• At least 5 years of experience designing and building full stack applications
• Strong knowledge and experience with ReactJS and NodeJS/ExpressJS
• Huge preference you also have strong knowledge of Python
• Proficient in and Hands-on experience with object-oriented JavaScript, TypeScript, data structures and data architectures
• Strong understanding of HTTP, WebSocket, OAuth, RESTful, CORS and other web technologies
• Strong understanding of SQL and managing models and schemas for app design and state management.
• Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of responsive design. Strong understanding on HTML5, CSS, less and sass
• Experience with AWS ecosystem
