Partner Manager$50k – $90k
-Collaborate with a cross-functional team to achieve team Business Development goals
-Independently prioritize your day-to-day execution of the sales and post-sale execution process
-Independently qualify leads for sales, prioritize your sales pipeline, and conduct research on industry and regional market characteristics
-Build, foster, and manage relationships with dozens of Teralytic partners in your assigned territory
-Handle inbound and outbound inquiries, perform sales demos and move inquiries through sales process into closed business
-Represent Teralytic at various farm industry trade shows/events.
-Engage CTO team and jointly ideate and demonstrate example apps and business processes that partners can take advantage of using our API
-Independently collaborate with Account Executives and Field Technical Agronomists on a daily basis at an account level to provide the best farmer experience, collect feedback for the product and development team, and share feedback widely across company.
-Develop your own sales playbook for overcoming objections, discussing soil science and monitoring, testing demonstrating services via 1-on-1 screenshare demos or on-site pilots with farmers
-Place outbound calls to farmers to learn about their operations and identify ways that our products and/or services provide benefits, and achieve productivity expectations
-Must be willing to travel 50-75% of time to locations around the world sometimes with limited lead time.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-3-5 years of professional business development experience, especially in an Ag, software or data background
-Must have an Bachelor or Masters degree, in agronomy, computer science, or similar experience with top tier Technology Firm.
-Must be able to multitask, have excellent troubleshooting skills, and be able to work independently.
-Must be detail oriented.
-Need good communication skills and capable of presenting in front of a group as well as one on one.
-Need to be proficient at using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and/or Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
BONUS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-Past work experience in a crop or soil science area is preferred.
-Fluency in Agronomy, soil science, fertilizer, and/or ag-related data products
-Knowledge or experience with Precision Ag practices is greatly sought after.
