A day in the life of running Business Development at Harri…

Oversee Harri’s Strategic Partnership ecosystem. This includes but is not limited to the management and development of current and future partnerships.

Build effective business plans in concert with each of the strategic partnerships to deliver on the existing contractual parameters currently in place.

Continually look for opportunities to strengthen our relationships with our partners by presenting solutions that would present ecosystem, marketing, and digital tools that would complement the program to build on stronger engagement, referral source, and joint partnership.

Look for opportunities to identify and pursue future relationships with strategic Industry Partners. We have categorized these partners into 3 key groups:
Industry vendors
POS
Assessment
Training

WOTC
Payroll
HCM SaaS

Worker’s Comp insurers

Harri can interact with these vendors in multiple ways:
Integrated and non-integrated
Referral or channel
Functional or strategic
Development of payroll/benefits providers for our People Platform strategy will be a significant area of focus
Professional Service partners
Includes (but are not limited to) Hospitality focused:
Accounting firms
Labor Lawyers
Hospitality and Human Capital Management IT and Technology consultants.
Investment professionals
Primarily PE funds

Effectively engage with internal partners, including customer sales team, operations, business intelligence, legal, marketing, business development, ecosystem and sales enablement teams to facilitate the delivery of effective materials, opportunities for growth, data sets that drive compelling areas of opportunity for partner satisfaction, and to ensure appropriate relationships are fostered for risk mitigation and timely resolution.

Work closely with Harri’s Customer Sales and Business Development teams to develop business growth plans with our existing and future strategic partnerships.

Oversee executive sponsorship, partner scorecards, partner roles and responsibilities, with our operational team that will highlight the health of our operational delivery or risks that need executive oversight and resolution.

Lead efforts of our partnerships through our go to market technology stack that showcases the health of the relationship across many fronts including:

Scorecard development and oversight
Relationship ties
Business growth opportunities
Performance metrics and KPI’s
Operational delivery
Event planning

Define what is needed across existing Harri teams to support this strategy, including in sales, marketing, IT, and operations. Assess their readiness to support requirements and work with their leaders to enhance this.

Become an expert in Harri’s products and where they sit within the larger Workforce Management ecosystem

Travel to business development meetings, industry conferences, and trade shows.

What We're Looking For:

A Bachelor's degree
5+ years of sales / business development (SaaS and Services) experience
Proven track record of building relationships with clients, sourcing, selling and meeting business targets
Comfort and expertise calling on and presenting to VP and C-Suite level contacts
Experience in technology industry
Working in fast paced environment, strong multi-tasking skills and managing several opportunities on a monthly/quarterly basis
Highly competitive, entrepreneurial and self-driven
Passion for cloud and SaaS technologies and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
