AURA Therapeutics (www.auratherapeutics.com) is the first kratom brand for women. Our mission is educate and empower women to have freedom of choice when it comes to pain relief and self-care.
We are looking for a social media intern for a part-time Spring Session internship for 3 days a week/ 12 hours a week.
Job Summary
This position will contribute growing our Pinterest content, followers, and engagement with the goal of increase traffic and conversions on our site. While deep experience in graphic design or Pinterest is not necessary, attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to follow instructions is important. You will learn high level Pinterest design, Pinterest strategy, and Pinterest seo that will build the foundation of launching your own Pinterest marketing business.
The Social Media Intern may also be asked from time to time to create graphics for other platforms, such as Instagram or Instagram stories.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Assisting with Pinterest pin creation (experience with Canva a plus)
- Creating Pinterest pin descriptions
- Scheduling Pinterest pins and repins in software
- Identifying opportunities for group boards to repin to
- Basic analytics reporting for team meetings
- Stay on top of real-time trends for AURA Therapeutics + competitor kratom brands
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Currently studying marketing, media or journalism.
- Experienced in Canva and in Pinterest.
- A desire to grow and learn in a startup setting.
- Ability to be self-motivating and take initiative.
