As a Front End Mobile Software Engineer at !important, you will participate in building appealing, user friendly and reliable applications that aims to ensure pedestrian’s security worldwide. You will work on our main products, our mobile application and data visualization dashboard, and on other various upcoming products, like car entertainment system integration, Internet of Things development and many more. You will work in collaboration with our Data Science, Machine Learning and Engineering teams to develop new features while maintaining high quality and safety standards. To be part of our vision and focus on the objectives, you will collaborate with the Chief Product Officer / Product Manager, and the Software Lead Director. The team is focused on delivering the best solutions to our customers and partners, designed in a continuous improvement fashion.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design and creation of scalable software
• Write clean, functional code
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Develop and manage well-functioning applications
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role
• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Knowledge of native mobile languages (e.g. Kotlin for Android)
• Knowledge of common back-end languages (e.g. Obj-C, Java, Python)
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
• Experience designing appealing UX/UI
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
• Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork skills
• Great attention to detail

Nice to have:

• Experience using gRPC
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis) and web servers (e.g. Apache)
• Experience in low latency and safety critical architectures
• Experience using AWS
