Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead

NextBee is currently hiring for a smart and dynamic Java Developer in our San Mateo office. In this opportunity, you will be required to deliver on critical business needs that improves product usability and system enhancements.

Job Responsibilities

Participate in the design and development of product features

Produce code that is sufficiently supported by unit tests

Develop and maintain technical documentation related to the project

Participate in demonstration of completed work to stakeholders

Support adjacent teams by providing technical documentation and answering questions

Participate in peer code reviews

Triage and solve live issues

Collaborate closely our with offshore team

Qualifications

2+ years of software development experience in Java, J2EE and Hibernate
Experience or ability to work in AWS cloud platform
Web services and database experience
Knowledge of implementing REST APIs
Knowledge of Object Oriented principles
Knowledge with working on Relational Databases
Knowledge of QA automation processes and tools such as JUnit and TestNG
Experience with Version Control Systems (GIT, SVN)
Experience in UNIX systems on a user level
