About us :

• We are a start-up run by 3 ivy-league professionals an MBA from ISB, a Chartered Accountant who has several years of experience working in Big 4, and a serial entrepreneur who has successfully launched his latest venture i.e. bykojourneys.com)

About the current job requirement :

• We are looking for a highly driven, rock star FULL STACK WEB DEVELOPER to turn our product into easy-to-use mobile-friendly web-based platform.

You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full web-based platform development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

If you’re also familiar with Agile methodologies, we’d like to know more from you. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to see that too.

We are looking for someone to build a company ground up and is passionate about re-imagining the online platform for both our online networking platform for working-class-employees as well as our online college-student internship platform for our edtech business

*(I) About the role and job responsibilities *
• Work with development team and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Write effective APIs
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Create security and data protection settings
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
• Write technical documentation
• Work with data analytics team to improve software

(II) About the desired candidates - Profile:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Great attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• An analytical mind
• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
• You need to be - Figure things out- kind of person: If you are looking for a well-defined, structured role with fixed responsibilities we are probably not the right fit. We will expect you to come figure stuff out with us!
• You need to be an Infinite Learner: If you are not hungry to learn, we won't be a good fit. We want to be able to learn from you as well, so we'll love it if you come with some deep knowledge or domain expertise from a previous job
• Finally, we want someone who can imagine what the future would look like, and then push the boundaries of what's possible to get there, not someone who finds a 100 ways of why it cannot be done, or solves for incremental challenges
