Senior Backend Developer

Who You Are

• You are an experienced backend developer with system mindset who knows how to build scalable and robust backend system
• You are passionate in connecting millions of passionate sports fans around the teams and topics they crave
• You pay particular attention to details but still working in a fast-moving environment
• You have a good user empathy and placing the user experience as a top priority

What You Will Be Doing

• Design and building RESTful APIs using Kotlin
• Build scalable backend system and infrastructure using Kotlin/Python
• Communicating effectively with our product, design, API teams

Requirements

• Proficient in Java or Kotlin(preferred). Good coding habits.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud service providers.
• Good at instrumentation and solving system performance problems.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Deep understanding of common backend components, like DBMS, micros services, RPC, etc.
• BS+ in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of work experience in backend development.
