Senior Software Engineer

The iFoodDS platform helps companies in the fresh produce supply chain control costs and increase marketability of their products through food safety process controls, quality control, supplier management and the intelligent use of data.
The iFoodDS is a SaaS solution that has a Web component and an App( Android and IOS).
We are looking for a C#, Java developer responsible for building the App and developing back-end services. Your primary responsibilities will involve designing and developing new features in our mobile app and coordinating with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

Responsibilities

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

Attributes

• Proficient in C#
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (Java a plus)
• Skill for writing reusable C# libraries
• Experience with C# mobile development in Unity3D or Xamarin
• Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns
• Code discipline with clean, readable C# code
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Implementing automated testing frameworks and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git)
• Familiarity with continuous integration
