We are seeking to fill Cyber Security Engineering positions to support the US Navy.
Job duties include evaluating systems and programs for compliance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Department of Defense (DOD), US Cyber Command, and Department of the Navy (DON), IA security policies, procedures, and directives.
Additionally, these positions require the ability to interpret security requirements and provide guidance to systems engineers, systems developers, and program managers in support of the network sustainment and application integration life cycle.
As a Cyber Security Engineer, select employees will conduct technical reviews of system cyber configurations and posture, to include conducting architectural analysis, network scans, configuration and security documentation audits which include the use of the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) database.
The ideal candidate will have experience with the Navy C&A process, DIACAP/RMF, DOD and DON mandates such as CTOs and ORPORDs, security principles and technologies (such as HBSS), and will possess active DOD 8570.01 IAM/IAT level I, II or III certification.
Strong communication skills are required, as well as the ability to coordinate activities, work multiple assignments simultaneously and contribute as a reliable team member within the organization.
Minimum Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
-2-3 years min experience with the Navy C&A process
-Technical understanding of security principles and modern security technologies
-Understanding of system engineering and integration principles
-Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and network security architecture concepts
-High emotional intelligence with passion for self-development
-Excellent communication skills with clients and team
-DOD 8510.01 certifications
-DOD security clearance up to and including TS/SCI
