Our People Team is growing, and we are looking for a Senior HR Project Manager to create, manage and implement a wide array of initiatives across HR, Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development.

Reporting to the VP of People & Culture, our Senior HR Project Manager will be the primary point person for all projects and initiatives within the People Team. You will be collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including our senior leadership team, and each member of our People team. Using analytical insights, you will strive to find people centric initiatives to further the business objectives of Zensurance.

Time management, collaboration, stakeholder management and an analytical mindset are key for this position. This role is vital to ensure projects are being completed in a timely manner at the highest of quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of the company’s people project portfolio, ranging from strategic planning initiatives to tactical activities, in conjunction with the ten-person team.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to drive people led initiatives on each team to further business objectives.
  • Keep an active pulse on bandwidth within the People Ops team and delegate projects & deliverables accordingly.
  • Assist all members of the People Team with project management, insight and presentation aesthetics.
  • Work closely with the VP of People & Culture to be aligned on strategies, priorities and timelines for all deliverables.
  • Be a subject matter expert on all facets of people & culture to properly advise strategies to the senior leadership team.
  • Take ownership of initiatives and projects while providing clear communications and feedback to all key stakeholders.
  • Ability to anticipate and navigate roadblocks during projects to ensure completion.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • 3+ years of project management experience is an asset.
  • Prior experience working in a leadership capacity in a start up/scale up organization.
  • Unparalleled attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Data focused, with ability to acquire, read and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Subject matter expertise on a variety of presentation methods.
  • Ability to display and support a high performance culture.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills to adopt to projects and day to day tasks.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Zoom & Slack.
