About the Role
As our Technical Writer, you will be an integral part of our Documentation team, working closely with the Head of Documentation to transform complex information into easy-to-understand, engaging, and useful content for our users. Your work will play a crucial role in enhancing our customers' experience by providing clear, accurate, and timely documentation for our products and services.
Your Day to Day
- Collaborate with the Head of Documentation, engineering, product teams, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality documentation for new products, features, and APIs.
- Contribute to the organization and discoverability of documentation, ensuring users can easily find the information they need.
- Participate in the content creation process, including writing, editing, and reviewing documentation to maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.
- Assist in developing and implementing innovative documentation strategies and tools to enhance user engagement and understanding.
- Support the maintenance of documentation, including regular updates and improvements based on user feedback and performance analysis.
- Engage in the documentation testing process to ensure technical accuracy and user-friendliness.
- Contribute to the evaluation of documentation success through both quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback.
About You
- Proven experience in technical writing or documentation, with a portfolio of written documentation examples.
- Strong knowledge of the Python programming language and experience with APIs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, product documentation, or a related field.
- A collaborative team player with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Familiarity with documentation tools, version control systems, and content management platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Labelbox strives to ensure pay parity across the organization and discuss compensation transparently. The expected annual base salary range for this United States-based position is $100,000 - $120,000. This range is not inclusive of any potential equity packages or additional benefits. Exact compensation varies based on a variety of factors, including skills and competencies, experience, and geographical location.
