We’re looking for a professional, systematic, and thorough editor. The editor we’re searching for has to be a good time manager, organize their tasks diligently, and work well with others. Please review what we’re looking for to see if you identify with the position before applying for it.
Duties and Responsibilities
Research and develop content in a wide selection of industries, including healthcare, finance, business, and marketing
Ability to multitask and develop different content pieces simultaneously (whenever necessary)
Knowledge of writing blog posts, scripts, website copy, and other digital content formats
Account management skills in a variety of industries, including writing and editing, project management, and client management
Project management and quality control for different clients
Coaching of novice and less skilled content writers on the company standards
Creation of actionable content deliverable plans
Client communication in the form of interviews to help ensure brand alignment for developed content
Ability to adjust to new and dynamic job requirements as they become required
Candidate Requirements
Proof of working experience as an editor
High-level writing and editing skills in a variety of formats and industries (emphasis on B2B niches)
Interviewing skills for clients to ensure developed content is up to brand standards
Logical and emphatic mindset – able to develop content objectively and cater it to reader expectations
Autonomy and accountability – able to work independently and learn from own mistakes
People’s person in terms of teamwork and interaction with various stakeholders
