Technical Product Manager
As Technical Product Manager at Draup, you will be participating in the creation of the roadmap of
deep technology products, keeping business goals and product planning at the front. The role will
provide day-to-day product management support for the Big Data Engineering team, as well as
working with various internal teams to plan out and prioritize 6 to 18 months roadmap, finally
ensuring the teams receive the appropriate requirements and are notified of any changes to ensure
successful deployment of various capabilities.
What you will do:
• Your mission is to grow Draup intelligence products by understanding and solving our
customer's problems. You will work on core data infrastructure products to deliver world
class experiences and impact how our customers do business.
• You work closely with architects, senior engineers, and internal product teams to develop
the best technical design and approach for new capability development
• Instil best practices for software development and documentation, ensure designs meet
requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules
• As a technical contributor with a background in engineering or engineering supervision and
familiarity with writing requirements documents, you’ll bridge the gap between customers
and technology
• Provide insights on end-user requirements in the form of user stories and collaborate with
data intelligence, data science, and technology teams and assist in the development of new
features to improve Draup data platform capabilities and user experience, and validate value
delivery through UAT or other testing efforts.
• Prioritize sprint & release backlogs to provide the highest value to users and communicate
the enhancement and new tools benefits to the users
Who you are:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Prior experience with demonstrated attention to detail in technical product development
• Strong technical abilities with experience working on big data products
• 5+ years experience in a product role or equivalent
• You have an understanding of agile product management methodologies, experience in user
story writing, roadmap planning, and development
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment
• You have great written and verbal communication skills
• Bonus: Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python
