👋 A little about me and the team!

Hi there! I’m Ben, CEO and Co-founder, at Abode. I am looking for a Founding Account Executive to work with me and our current GTM team to continue growing our customer base.

Currently our GTM team consists of myself, our head of CS, a customer success manager, and one of my co-founders. You’ll be joining us on the ground floor and will be instrumental in the growth of our revenue and company as a whole.

A lot of our team works remotely but we have office space in Denver, Washington D.C., and Nashville.

🤩 The Opportunity - A day in the life of the Founding AE at Abode

  • Grow your skillset by managing all aspects of the sales process.
  • Generate new business opportunities from prospecting.
  • Partner closely with Ben and Parker (two of the co-founders) to close business, including traveling to meet future customers in person.
  • Work with Ford (Head of CS) on opportunities to expand our accounts and ensure our partners are supported.
  • Help create best-practices and playbooks for future team members.

👩‍💻 Your Skills & Experience

  • You have 3+ years of sales experience at a B2B SaaS company selling to mid-market & enterprise accounts.
  • You’re a self-directed professional who enjoys figuring things out on their own.
  • You thrive in constantly changing, fast-paced environments and on small teams.
  • You have formal Sales Training; Sandler, MEDDIC, NEAT, etc.
  • You have experience using HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRM platforms
  • Although this role is an individual contributor, you are excited about the opportunity to be strategic & help build the foundation and playbooks for our sales org.
  • Highly valued but not required:
    • You have previous experience as an early sales hire at a startup.
    • You understand our customers and have experience on either side (vendor or practitioner) of recruiting, early-career hiring, or other HR Tech.
