Full Stack Web Developer, Rails

Aura is looking for a Full stack Rails Web Developer to join our growing eCommerce team.

We are a passionate and self-motivated group that collaborate closely to create the best shopping experience possible for all site visitors.

You will join our growing eCommerce team, building the next best iteration of auraframes.com. Your focus will be on taking high-fidelity mockups from design to implementation, with a focus on accessibility and speed.

We Are Excited About You Because:

• Have at least 3-5+ years of web development experience, eCommerce focus a plus
• Have a strong understanding of frontend architecture, with a preference for modern CSS3 and JS (ES6+) practices
• Have experience with or desire to learn Ruby and/or Ruby on Rails
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design, ensuring seamless user experiences across various devices and screen sizes
• Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining API services.
• Familiarity in Headless eCommerce, Shopify development a plus
• Have experience accessing REST API and GraphQL services
• Familiar working with code versioning tools like Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools
• Based in New York

Compensation and Benefits:

At Aura, we believe in creating a happy and supportive work environment so you are set up to succeed in your job and do the best work of your career. We have offices in New York City and San Francisco. Compensation for this position is $130,000-$150,000 depending on experience.
