The Role

RecargaPay is the Super App that simplifies everyday payments for consumers and SMEs in Brazil.

The platform streamlines payments for over 6 million Brazilians by consolidating credit and debit cards, instant payments like Pix, and Open Finance, on a mission to democratize mobile payments and financial services in Brazil.

Featuring services such as bill payments, mobile top-ups, public transportation, installment plans, and loans, designed with convenience, low cost and flexibility in mind. RecargaPay is changing the way both banked and unbanked Brazilians make their everyday payments and access their financial services.

We are seeking an experienced professional in Sr. Platform Engineering with extensive expertise in the discipline and its roles and responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a Developer Experience specialist with deep knowledge of CI/CD processes for agile development. Additionally, it is essential to have advanced skills in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, New Relic, development lifecycle, information security, and monitoring and observability practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable platform solutions.
  • Enhance the developer experience, ensuring efficiency and ease in the development cycle.
  • Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines to support agile development practices.
  • Work closely with the development teams to ensure continuous integration and continuous delivery of high-quality software.
  • Implement and maintain cloud infrastructures using AWS services.
  • Orchestrate and manage Kubernetes clusters to support distributed applications.
  • Implement robust cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
  • Establish effective monitoring and observability practices to ensure system performance and reliability.

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
  • Proven experience in platform engineering with a focus on agile development.
  • Deep understanding and practical experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Github, New Relic technologies.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices, such as Github Actions, Jenkins, GitOps.
  • Practical experience in building platforms and adopting Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multifunctional teams.
  • Proven ability to provide technical leadership and mentor less experienced team members.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques
  • English or Spanish is a plus.
