This position is remote in the US only, but candidates in LA are preferred. The rest of our content team lives in LA and it's easier for collaborating.
Moment is building the largest, most trusted, marketplace for creators. More than an online store, we’re building a marketplace that carries everything you need for the entire creative journey. We're looking for a talented visual designer who can take our marketing to the next level. Someone who loves both empowering creators and driving e-commerce results through better content, emails, ads, etc. More focused than an agency role, you get to tinker with all the details...learning what works and what doesn't. And like all of our designers you get to own the entire customer journey from generating new ideas to designing them to learning through actual results. Never a dull Moment you'll get to design across a wide variety of campaigns working with our internal team, external brands, and creators.
Keep in mind we are looking for a designer who loves photography and has direct experience as a customer of what we sell. There is no solution to being the customer so if you love photography / filmmaking and e-commerce, then this role is for you.

Our designers are highly collaborative, which means you’ll share, learn, and amplify design with our gear and software teams as well. What You'll Be Working On
You'll be working on a variety of new projects every week. Some are short and fast, while some are multi-week campaigns.
- Defining design problems you want to solve and then working to solve them through beautiful and effective visuals - thumbnails, emails, ads, landing pages, etc.
- Collaborating with our internal teams, helping them turn ideas into effective visuals. This includes content, marketing, and sales teams.
- Collaborating with creators and brands to help them launch new offerings at moment.
- Setting the visual directions for our largest content campaigns and ensuring they’re implemented on productions.
- Learning how to understand our results, test new ideas, and see how they perform.
- Editing a lot of photos, organizing assets, and helping the team create amazing product pages at Moment, Amazon, and third party retailers.
- Providing and receiving feedback internally on projects designers are shipping.
You need these qualifications
We are looking for a designer who loves photography gear and solving the hardest marketing challenges. Being a user of the gear we make is a big, big plus.
- 1+ years of experience as a visual designer for an online brand.
- Direct design experience with content (i.e. Social / YouTube), e-commerce, or marketplaces is preferred.
- Publish your work online. We believe that the best designers are part of the design community, putting their work out publicly for others to learn from.
- Strong visual talent. Sorry, we can’t teach this, but we do have a high bar for aesthetic detail.
- Expertise in photography and a confidence in Adobe CC Photoshop.
- Proficient in Figma.
