Pre-Summer Medical Review Role

Qualifications:

• Experience with camp or travel programs
• Nurse or similar experience
• Organized and timely
• Experience with reviewing diverse medical needs of minors

Dates: April 1, 2024-June 30th, 2024.

Salary: $30/hour

Time: About 90 hours total

Key Position Responsibilities Include (and are not limited to):

• Responsible for reviewing at minimum 500 files
• Hire and train team of nurses to review other files for all Summer Camp Leadership and Passport Travel programs
• Review teen medical files in compliance with discussed due dates.
• Identify medical or mental health concerns based on CampDoc information.
• Weekly checks with review team to ensure timeliness
• Track teens missing information, in compliance, and those with medical conditions
• Weekly meeting with Senior Director of Wellness and Inclusion to discuss progress and updates
• Weekly connect with Customer Service team to ensure appropriate follow up is complete
• Create session/trip lists with detailed medical history complete 2+ weeks prior to departure or start date
• Speak with parents regarding specific medical issues before trips.
• Order summer medical supplies
