Our Sales team at Plaid combines deep product and industry knowledge and is focused on bringing Plaid to an ever-broadening set of businesses. We believe any company offering financial products and digital assets to consumers deserves the best financial technology.
You'll be a key individual helping us achieve this vision. Your focus will be identifying new revenue opportunities, engaging with leading crypto and web3 players, aligning Plaid solutions to their specific and unique business needs, and building strong long-lasting relationships.
Responsibilities
- Identify use cases and prospect into high-growth companies in the crypto space.
- Develop a book of high-potential engaged prospects and maintain a sufficient pipeline to support successful attainment against quota
- Successfully lead a technical sales motion of guiding engineers, product, and growth team members for the entire life-cycle from prospecting to close
- Coordinate cross-functional resources and drive initiatives across Plaid to support a consultative sales motion
- Manage pipeline and accurately forecast deal value and win probability.
- Own mastery of Plaid solutions and evangelize for industry success across fintech, crypto, and other industries
Qualifications
- 5+ years of quota-carrying, technical selling experience in a net-new hunting role
- Work experience and interest in the crypto/web3 space
- A strong track record of over performance and a hunter mentality
- Ability to collaborate internally and exhibit a “win as a team” mentality
- Solution-oriented mindset with a relentless desire to ‘make it better’
- Experience in building territory plans and executing to plan
- Passion working with early and growth stage companies
- Proficiency in technical products and APIs
