Marketing & Communications Associate

We are seeking an associate to help with our communications and marketing efforts. This is a contract to hire role.

Responsibilities

• Storytelling - craft engaging stories (concise, precise with appropriate details) by understanding our products & services and intended audience.
• Communications Work - help with all internal and external communication to a variety of audiences and in multiple modes of delivery.
• Marketing Work - Provide support with communication, messaging, developing customer journeys etc. This includes help with crafting marketing slogans, identifyng what to hightlight and how and which details to leave. Requires understanding of audience, what message to communicate and how.
• Work with Regional liason (US/EU based) and/or develop understanding of our customer's local culture to effectively help craft the messaging.
• You would also craft and manage our Digital Media & Social Media Marketing, help with product related communications & documentation, explainer videos, marketing efforts, event management etc.
• Simplify complex concepts into easy to understand language.

Qualifications:

• Journalism, Communications, Media or Creative Field related education/degree is desired however no formal educational qualifications required.
• Your work should speak for your abilities and you should be able to communicate it all within the short evaluation contact we may have with you.
• You may be given open ended assignment with time limits for us to evaluate your expertise (by submitting any assignments would be granting Bhumio Inc. an unrestricted global license to use it as the we see fit)
• Excellent command of written english is required.
• Critical Thinker and be able to simplify complex ideas.
• Basic to intermediate expertise to use tools like Canva, AI Image editing, Generative AI writing and research tools to augment your work and be ultra efficient.
• Excellent communicator and storyteller
• Team work and problem solver - we are small and have little tolerance for internal politics.
• This is an India based remote only role but you must be open to work US day time hours and weekends occasionally if requested.
