Senior Design Manager

The TULA creative team is hiring! This role reports to the Digital Art Director, and is fully remote with some expected travel for business and team offsites throughout the year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Own large scale design projects and initiatives from ideation to execution, effectively managing competing priorities
• Manage and build design systems in Figma to be used by entire design team
• Seek out data from cross functional partners to inform creative decisions
• Execute on creative briefs for digital channels including email, site, MMS, paid media and social
• Partner with print and UX team to ensure design consistency and best practices business-wide
• Work seamlessly with cross functional partners to cultivate relationships and effectively problem solve
• Present designs to senior leadership to gain buy in on creative decisions
• Serve as an industry expert for innovations and software and bring relevant information back to the team
• Partner with project management to propose new solutions for resource maximization
• Operate as an independent self-starter, raising concerns to manager (Senior Art Director) as needed
• Serve as a resource for junior team members, providing feedback and critiques
• Manage and mentor 1-2 designers

Qualifications:

• Approximately 8 years of professional experience
• Minimum of 1-2 years management experience
• Advanced understanding of building and maintaining design systems in Figma
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Indesign and remainder of Adobe suite
• DTC beauty experience a plus

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000-$140,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a competitive annual bonus with possibility for achievement based on performance and company results.In addition, TULA offers a variety of benefits to eligible team members, including health insurance coverage, wellness and remote support programs, paid leave programs, education-related programs, Unlimited PTO, paid holidays, and others.
