The Role

Would you like to join a tight-knit team and be the driving force behind a dynamic and disruptive 3PL startup?

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Executive Assistant to join our rapidly growing team. As a pivotal player in our logistics operation, you'll be at the heart of our operations, offering indispensable support to our executive team and making significant contributions to our fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are in great need of additional structure and organization. We need someone who can manage projects independently and create systems to help things run more efficiently, without needing hand-holding from our team.
  • You'll serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the CEO.
  • Manage a complex and dynamic calendar of appointments; plan, coordinate, and ensure the CEO's schedule is followed and respected.
  • Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
  • Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO's office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with senior management staff.

Who You Are:

  • A self-starter who thrives in a rapidly changing environment and is comfortable with figuring things out themselves.
  • Exceptionally structured and organized, with a talent for managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A problem-solver who can anticipate needs and address issues before they arise.
  • Excellent in professional communication, both written and verbal, and able to interact with individuals at all levels.
  • Experienced in providing support at a high level, to both other team members and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or other relevant administrative support experience.
  • Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.

Job Requirements:

  • This is an in-person job only. Must be able to commute to our Gardena office M-F
  • Work hours are 10am-6pm PST M-F, with a bit of flexibility if needed
  • Compensation is $24/hr to start with lots of room to grow with the company
