Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all equipment owned by the organization, and implement systems for tracking equipment location, usage, and condition
• Source and procure equipment from reputable suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality
• Coordinate the distribution of equipment to appropriate departments or individuals
• Develop and implement a regular maintenance schedule for all equipment, and coordinate repairs and servicing with external vendors as needed
• Manage the disposal process for obsolete or non-functioning equipment in compliance with relevant regulations
• Provide training to staff on the proper use and care of equipment, and develop and maintain documentation, including manuals and guidelines, for equipment usage
• Monitor spending, negotiate contracts, and seek cost-saving opportunities, and collaborate with finance department to develop and manage the equipment budget
• Maintain detailed records of equipment transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and repairs, and generate reports for management regarding equipment status and usage
• Implement security measures to safeguard valuable equipment, and develop contingency plans for equipment-related emergencies
• Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, including staff, faculty, and administrators.

Requirements

• 🏆👉👥 Previous experience in equipment management, particularly in an educational setting
• 💬📝👌 Strong understanding of STEAM education principles and equipment requirements
• 🔝💻 Proficient in using office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, etc.), and familiarity with management and communication tools
• 🏆👉👥 Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• 🏆👉👥 Collaborative mindset and willingness to work in a team-oriented environment, with ability to build and maintain positive relationships

Possessing any of the requirements listed below will result in additional points being awarded to your application:

• 🚗 Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, technology, or education with a focus on STEAM)
• 🤖 Familiarity with the education sector or experience in selling educational products/services is a plus
• 🤖 Experience with Apple devices
