POSITION PURPOSE
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Business Analyst + Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business analysis activities and overseeing project management processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify opportunities for process improvement, and ensure successful project delivery. As a Senior Business Analyst + Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in aligning business objectives with technology solutions, driving strategic initiatives, and enhancing overall organizational efficiency.
Our business has been on a significant growth journey for 12+ years having begun life as a start-up and is now ready to progress optimising processes and implementing systems at the next level of business maturity. In this context, several projects have been initiated for delivery over the next 2-3 years. The projects range from formally addressing cybersecurity to implementation of new systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Analysis
Conduct comprehensive business analysis to understand stakeholder requirements, capture business processes, and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
Gather and document business requirements, user stories, and use cases.
Analyse and evaluate business processes, systems, and data to identify gaps and propose innovative solutions.
Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects.
Project Management
Develop project briefs, project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Lead project teams, ensuring clear communication, roles, and responsibilities are established and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Track project milestones and deliverables, managing scope changes effectively.
Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, including status updates, issue resolution, and decision-making processes.
Prepare regular progress reports, providing project updates to stakeholders and management.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, relevant departments to gather requirements, understand business needs, and work with 3rd parties to align technology solutions.
Establish strong working relationships with stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and ensure project success.
Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating business requirements into actionable deliverables.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost savings within the organization.
Conduct analysis of current processes, systems, and workflows, and recommend enhancements or automation opportunities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices and standardized methodologies.
