Role: FP&A Analyst

The Greenleaf team is looking for an FP&A Analyst who specializes in financial modeling to support our growing client base. We currently have 2 different projects that need support, so if you are interested in working with some creative brands and building out operating models, budgets, and cash flow models, this role is for you. We are looking for an analytical thinker who not only likes working with data, but can use that data to tell a story, simplify complex ideas, and make recommendations to client executive teams. This role will also need to work closely with both outsourced accounting teams and Greenleaf leadership to synthesize general ledger and accounting data into recurring reporting for client management and boards of directors.

Greenleaf Advisory Partners is an advisory group helping company management teams streamline financial processes, optimize technology, reduce costs, project cash flow, staff departments and provide timely reporting to support strategic planning. We provide CFO, FP&A, and strategic finance leadership to clients across multiple industries.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3 years experience in complex financial modeling using Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of: * Financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) * Building unit/product costing models * Pricing & Profitability Analysis * Rolling 13-week cash flow forecasts
• Advanced presentation skills and ability to use Microsoft Powerpoint to summarize complex ideas using charts, graphs and executive summaries
• Desire to learn new things, tackle complexity and work with data with many unknown variables
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the desire to transition into consulting full-time and build out a niche, strategic finance-focused advisory firm
• Ability to work directly with client leadership and articulate recommendations
• Willingness to make, own and correct mistakes

System Experience (or similar)

• Microsoft Suite
• ERP / Accounting: Netsuite, Quickbooks, Restaurant365, SAP, Stampli, Bill.com, etc.
• Business Intelligence: Tableau, Looker
• Productivity: Notion, Slack, Asana
