Everyday, our friends and neighbors must choose between eating less or leaving other bills unpaid in order to eat. The effect of food insecurity systematically breaks down communities while placing huge stress on community organizations, who have only seen hunger's trend grow in recent years. Unfortunately, many frontline organizations still operate with only pen and paper, leveraging few (if any) modern tools and technologies.

That’s where we come in.

At Full, we’re developing the first modern food pantry management tool that helps to streamline operations, reduce workloads, and enable pantries to feed more people faster. In the last two years, our platform has helped increase food distribution by over 150% with our existing clients, resulting in an additional ~100,000 Oregonians fed since 2021.

Now, we're taking our platform nationwide, ushering in the most modern advancement in the fight against hunger seen in decades.

About the job:

Full is searching for a Senior Software Engineer to help us build our initial product offering. We offer an environment where collaboration thrives and individuals matter. You will have a tremendous impact on both the technical footprint and success of Full.

We are building a highly available system intended to reach millions of users. The ideal candidate has expertise in modern front end systems as well as curiosity and desire to learn and help with the entire technical stack, from data delivery to infrastructure.

We are looking for your experience building and configuring performant, sustainable UX systems. You are able to recommend technology and strategy and help us get a greenfield project off the ground.

Technical requirements:

• Expertise developing beautiful, responsive, design-driven projects.
• Experience implementing and maintaining static web apps and server rendered apps.
• Strong skills in modern JS frameworks and utility-first CSS, like ReactJS and TailwindCSS.
• Understanding of Component Driven Development, End-to-End testing and API Design.
• Familiarity with RESTful systems and data delivery mechanisms.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment with highly accountable goals.
• Prior startup experience is a plus, but not necessarily required.
