Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, cultivating strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth. Your efforts will be instrumental in expanding our customer base, forging key partnerships, and positioning our company as a leader in the EV industry.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and market gaps, providing insights that inform business development strategies.
  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and strategic alliances, aligned with the company's growth objectives.
  • Identify and engage with potential customers, build a robust pipeline of leads, and drive the conversion of prospects into new business opportunities.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, such as EV manufacturers, infrastructure providers, government agencies, and industry associations, to drive business growth and market penetration.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients, partners, and other key stakeholders to maximize opportunities for collaboration, referrals, and revenue generation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling business proposals, including pricing strategies, contract negotiation, and deal structuring, tailored to customer needs and in line with company objectives.
  • Develop and execute market expansion strategies, including geographical expansion plans, new market segment identification, and market entry strategies.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market positioning to proactively identify areas of opportunity and potential threats, and adjust business development strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide support, resources, and strategic guidance to drive sales activities and achieve revenue targets.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build industry relationships, stay updated on industry trends, and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, pipeline progress, and key performance metrics, providing insights to management and contributing to data-driven decision-making processes.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development and sales, preferably in the automotive or EV industry.
  • In-depth understanding of the EV market, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and develop data-driven strategies.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
