The Role

We are seeking a talented and knowledgeable Human Resource Talent Acquistion to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Workforce Planning: Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs and develop strategic workforce plans accordingly.

  2. Job Description Creation: Create accurate and compelling job descriptions that effectively communicate the requirements and responsibilities of the positions to be filled.

  3. Sourcing Candidates: Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, and direct sourcing techniques, to identify potential candidates who match the desired qualifications and experience.

  4. Candidate Screening and Assessment: Review resumes, applications, and cover letters to shortlist candidates who meet the initial criteria. Conduct phone screens, interviews, and assessments to assess candidates' skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.

  5. Employer Branding: Develop and maintain a positive employer brand to attract high-quality candidates. Promote the organization's values, culture, and benefits through various channels, such as career fairs, employer branding campaigns, and online platforms.

  6. Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Provide guidance to interviewers on best practices, interview techniques, and compliance with equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws.

  7. Selection and Offer Management: Collaborate with hiring managers to evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. Extend job offers to selected candidates, negotiate terms of employment, and handle pre-employment checks, such as background screenings and reference checks.

  8. Candidate Relationship Management: Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, keeping them informed about their application status and providing feedback whenever possible. Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.

  9. Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management: Utilize an ATS or recruitment software to manage candidate data, track the recruitment process, and generate reports on recruitment metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  10. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process. Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records, including candidate data, interview notes, and hiring documentation.

  11. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new recruitment technologies. Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and quality of hires.

  12. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with hiring managers, HR colleagues, and other stakeholders to align recruitment efforts with organizational goals and objectives. Foster effective relationships and partnerships with external recruitment agencies and vendors when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Knowledge of various sourcing techniques and platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
