Installation Manager (Travel Required)

Showplace is a rapidly growing PropTech startup looking for a skilled Installation Manager (IM) to join our team. The IM will be responsible for finding, onboarding, and training new on-site project managers, travelling often to project sites to ensure the highest quality of work across all our projects. With a focus on VIP customers, the IM will be integral in maintaining our reputation for excellence and driving our growth in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding: Identify, recruit, and onboard new on-site project managers, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and qualifications for successful project execution.
Training: Provide comprehensive training to first-time project managers, ensuring they are well-equipped to manage projects according to Showplace's standards.
Quality Control and Supervision: Travel to project sites on a regular basis to oversee project managers and installers, ensuring adherence to Showplace's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
VIP Customer Focus: Prioritize projects for VIP customers ensuring exceptional service and the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Project Management Support: Step in to manage projects as needed, demonstrating exemplary project management skills and serving as a role model for other project managers.
Issue Resolution: Assist project managers and installation teams in resolving problems and addressing challenges, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth project execution.
Administrative Support: Collaborate with the Head of Operations to answer administrative questions and provide input on matters related to the Installation Manager role.

Requirements:
Proven experience in project management, preferably in a related industry
Strong leadership and training skills, with a focus on developing a high-performing team
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with an emphasis on conflict resolution
Willingness to travel regularly to various project sites
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Problem-solving mindset and a strong sense of responsibility
Adept at building and maintaining relationships with VIP customers

Travel Required Often
Be on-site 2-3 days max (Wed-Fri)
Travel minimum 3 times a month when there is training that needs to be done or high priority projects.
