Start-up pilot looking for his co-pilot and Employee #1

Hi - I'm Justin and I'm looking for a co-pilot on my way to build a $150M company. I've bootstrapped Captivate.ai to $500,000 in annual recurring revenue, and need a wingman/wingwoman to get to the next level and beyond.

This is an early-stage startup.

I earned my MBA at Stanford Business School - I know how to talk fancy at a cocktail party to get the 1% to give me 0.01% to make a great company.

My last startup was funded by Google's Chairman Eric Schmidt. We had 35 Fortune 500 clients. We were used by over 100M users around the world.

That was my warmup.

At Captivate.ai we are pushing the boundary on how to efficiently create insanely engaging marketing content.

We are at the forefront of the podcast revolution, and this wave is just getting started.

As employee #1 you will not have clearly delineated roles and responsibilities - you'll work alongside me to get things done in a rapidly and constantly evolving environment.

Here's what you look like:

• You have a bias towards actions. I don't need problems without solutions. I need someone who can see a problem, implement a solution, and take feedback on how to make it better
• You keep trains running on time. You are detail-oriented and meticulous in your work. I can flitter about my day, and need you to ground me by taking care of those details that slip by me.
• You are a creative conflagration. You see potential solutions where others see a garbled mess. You see opportunity where others see something that scares them.
• You live on the edge. You live and breathe in areas just outside of your comfort zone. You want to grow, learn, and suck the marrow from life.

Our office is in downtown Cherry Creek - we have a killer roof deck.

You'll be provided with a space in our office as well as the equipment you'll need. As a starting point, this is an in-office role, with potential for remote work over time.
