Hands-On Social Media Manager (Contractor/Part-Time)

Boston-based real estate developer is seeking a part-time social media manager (SMM) who can assist the company with content creation, strategy, and implementation. The company has an active Facebook and Instagram account but requires someone to fill a vacancy and to build off of what has already been created.

Here is what is expected of the SMM:

• This is a hybrid role; a mix of in-person and remote. The company requires the SMM to occassionally travel to worksites in the Boston area to take photos and videos of on-going projects. The SMM is also expected to attend a weekly staff meeting (in-person or remote TBD). The rest of the duties/responsibilities can be performed remotely.
• The SMM will be responsible for posting new content on Facebook/Instagram about on-going projects as well as completed projects and available properties for sale.
• The SMM will also be responsible for keeping the Facebook and Instagram accounts active by posting relevant content when project updates are not available.
• The SMM is expected to provide regular updates on status and progress of social marketing efforts.
• The company is looking for a contractor with prior social media management experience and has the ability to run campaigns on their own. This is not an opportunity for mentorship or nurturing. (Note: the position type was chosen due to salary limitations; this is not an internship)
• Candidates are not required to have a background in real estate development but it is preferred.
• The company is looking for someone to create a long-term partnership with. This is not seasonal or short-term work.
